Ladies Auxiliary
President's Message
I would like to welcome everyone to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5255, Lawrenceville Georgia. We have approximately 50 members in the Ladies Auxiliary. At our monthly meetings we have 10-15 active members who attend. We would surely like to see that number continue to grow. Each of us has to work towards increasing our membership and also the number of active members of our organization. The ladies who have been active for years have done their share and some no longer can assist and some are no longer with us. It is up to all of us to make sure we have people interested in helping with projects, programs, and helping our Veterans as we too our getting older. The Ladies Auxiliary started a new adventure this past year with the opening of our Bingo on Sunday and Tuesday. The additional money will help us to further our cause to help/assist our past, present and future Veterans, the Community, and our National Programs. “Remember the Dead by helping the Living” are very special words - lets not forget them.
