Cub Scouting members join a Cub Scout pack and are assigned to a den, usually a neighborhood group of six to eight boys. Tiger Cubs (first-graders), Wolf Cub Scouts (second graders), Bear Cub Scouts (third graders), and Webelos Scouts (fourth and fifth graders) meet weekly."

The objectives of Toys for Tots
are to help needy children throughout the United States experience the joy
of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our
nation's most valuable natural resources - our children; to unite all
members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year
during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to
contribute to better communities in the future.
Scout Master Scott says Troop 595 is dedicated to the original principles and laws of the Boy Scouts. These principles include a commitment to responsible citizenship in the community and nation, as well as to Family and God. The Troop wants its Scouts to be an example of what has made America great. Instilling these values, while showing the Scouts they can have fun too, is our main goal. Three of the adult leaders are Eagle Scouts, which gives the Troop a solid foundation to accomplish our goals. Initially, the Troop has nine Scouts, ages 11-16; they look forward to a troop size of 30-40. |
